I really dont support this idea. But what happend yesterday was not what i thought about, when i'm talkin about freedom of speech.
After the rememberance of 9/11 the two parties, the pro-islamiccenter and the anti-islamiccenter, started pretty loud crosstalk. Because of these different opinions the people that should be united in this rememberance for the victims of 9/11 devide the country.
Now i'm not sure if its right to build a mosque or not but im really sure, that it is wrong to forget what 9/11 was all about and to lose respect towards the victims.
The only thing I know is, that we shouldnt forget them!

ReplyDeleteand i don;t see the big deal in building a a mosque there. it was actions of people not a religion that cause the tragedy. that would be almost the same as condemning Christianity for the molestation incidents
